In-App Purchases have a different take in Crossy Road. They don't obstruct your view and give you something special for helping out the developer. This is a great way to have ads in your game. The player has the option to view these ads to get a special 20 coin reward. However, Crossy Road (at least on Android), does not feature ads during regular gameplay. When it comes to mobile games, a couple of things are on a lot of people's minds: Ads and In-App Purchases. You can unlock most of the characters by collecting coins and putting 100 of them in the prize machine. Playing as a Gravedigger or a Ghost also gives you a night backdrop.
